Gary Buscome Recovering

Gary Buscome sent me the message below. Egad! What is worse? The heart attack or being a journalist with one hand in a cast? A few prayers are in order to speed his recovery and get him typing with two hands again!
Gary's message:

hello, brothers!

excuse the typing but i am using my right hand, and i am a lefty. wanted to bring you up to date on some things that have happened recently.

we were in big bear at our place there for a month, and two days before we left for oklahoma i fell off a ladder, and broke my left arm. then after we got back to tulsa i collapsed at a scout meeting soon after getting there. luckily one of the dads was a doctor and several knew cpr. my heart had stopped and i was no longer breathing. "sudden cardiac arrest," it is called.

they also had a external automatic difibrillator on hand which they used successfully to restart my heart!

i guess i really beat the odds and survived. the hospital has implanted a small defibrillator in my chest to prevent it from happening again.

i am resting at home now and things seem to be healing up ok, just wanted you to know...
